A Proper Cup

a proper cup
still soothes me

the singular taste of milk
and sugar fermenting a
pouch of leaves leaves me
                                                     breathless
no longer, but sated
still

standing soundless as
once I stood
                          bewitched
by the sound of your
breath
canting my name
