Hireonymo

Shantih     shantih    shantih

Peace     peace     peace
                                              a feeble translation
of the Upanishadic
                                       Amen

i see you
               (form of)
curled over a well-ordered desk
                                                        (form of)
‘neath the un-blinking eye
                                               (form of)
your rest-less wife
                                 (form of)
hanging in the
                          Form
of smoke

i see you
i see me
as i was
as i am
as we are
                 One
and all and no-one

as we
           Struggle
to voice what can-not
be
what will never
be
what must
be
       Understood

as we
          Struggle
to give word
to the word-less
to give voice
to the voice-less
to give order
to the
           Divine
chaos

is it any
              Wonder
that we are
all
     Mad
